Assembly Sequence

Follow the assembly order below. Key parts for each step are listed.

Frame Assembly

Bolt base plate to left/right columns, rear wall, and top plate. Reinforce with gussets. Install leveling feet.

P1~P9, gussets, dowel pins, leveling feet

Y-Axis Linear Installation

Install 2×HGR20 Y rails on base → mount 4×HGH20CA blocks → bolt Y saddle plate to blocks.

X-Axis Linear Installation

Install 2×HGR20 X rails on Y saddle → mount 4 blocks → bolt T-slot table to blocks.

Ball Screw Installation

Install X/Y ball screws. Mount BK12 (fixed) + BF12 (floating) bearing blocks. Bolt DSG16H nut housing.

Z-Axis Linear + Ball Screw

Mount 2×HGR20 Z rails vertically on rear wall → 4 blocks → Z head plate → install Z ball screw.

Motor + Coupling Installation

Mount 3×NEMA23 motors on XYZ axes. Connect motor shaft to ball screw with spider couplings. Check alignment.

Spindle System

Mount spindle clamp 65mm on Z head → insert 1kW water-cooled spindle → connect VFD → plumb cooling pump + hose.

4-Axis Rotary (Optional)

Fix 4-axis rotary head (K11-100) to T-slot table → mount tailstock opposite → install A-axis NEMA23 motor.

Electronics Wiring

Wire grblHAL board + 4×DM556 drivers + PSU (48V+24V). Connect 74HCT245 level shifter. Wire proximity sensors, e-stop, SSR.

Finishing + Testing

Install cable chains → organize wiring with GX16 connectors → verify limit sensor function → check squareness → test cut.

Tip: After frame assembly (Step 1), install linear rails in order Y→X→Z. Install ball screws after rails for accurate alignment. Complete all mechanical work before starting electronics wiring.
